Monique enjoys the challenge of painting small. Her bookmarks and switchplates are bot beautiful and practical, while the miniature paintings area a great way to bring art into small spaces. Monique’s hand-drawn, original art notecards are thumbnail glimpses into some of her favorite things; cats, koi ponds, gardening, picnics, chickens and Chinese lanterns. Each card is a unique work of art—no two are alike.
Throughout her literate life, Monique has kept journals, and she was inspired to create journals, notebooks and tiny art books for others who like to write, sketch and paint. The books are covered in layers of acid-free paper, and embellished with words and images. Continuing the fun she has with collage, Monique also creates barrettes and pins.
